Which pipe can I use for hot water?
CPVC and PPRC both carry hot and cold water. UPVC does not — it is a cold-water and drainage pipe, and it is the one people buy by mistake.

UPVC is not a hot-water pipe. It is what a cold supply line and a drain are made of, and we carry 239 rows of it — sitting on the same shelf, in the same sizes, usually cheaper. That is exactly why it gets bought by mistake.
The suppliers draw the same line themselves. Pak Arab’s own sheet sets its sewerage SCH-40 uPVC against its hot-water SCH-80 CPVC, on the same price list.
How to be sure on any row
Every item page carries a Water line under “What the sheet says”. It reads either Hot and cold water or Cold water only — not for hot, and it comes off the heading the supplier printed, not from us.
Where a sheet says nothing about the material, the line is not there at all. We would rather show a gap than a guess.
