Straight answers, off the same sheets the rates come from.
Every answer here can be traced to a supplier’s own price list or to a rule we publish. Where we do not know, we say so instead of guessing.
What is the difference between SCH-40 and SCH-80?
The wall thickness — same outside diameter, so the fittings are the same, but you cannot tell them apart by looking. The schedule is stamped along the pipe; read the stamp.
What sizes do you carry?
Everything from half an inch upward, plus the metric PPRC range in millimetres — and every spelling of a size finds the same rows, however your own sheet writes it.
How much is pipe per foot?
The whole pipe divided by 19.75 — because a six-metre length measures three inches short of twenty feet, which is what our supplier says his own pipe is.
Which pipe can I use for hot water?
CPVC and PPRC both carry hot and cold water. UPVC does not — it is a cold-water and drainage pipe, and it is the one people buy by mistake.
